Jennifer has a deep appreciation for the ways animals adapt to their surroundings, from the camouflage of chameleons to the underground cities of prairie dogs. She enjoys writing about how creatures large and small navigate their environments in the most ingenious ways. When she’s not researching, Jennifer spends time training her talkative parrot, Oliver, who always finds a way to be part of the conversation.

Mia has always been drawn to the animal kingdom, with a special love for creatures that often go unnoticed. Whether writing about the secret lives of urban wildlife or the surprising habits of insects, she enjoys uncovering the small details that make each species remarkable. At home, Mia shares her space with two rescue rabbits, Clover and Thistle, who keep her entertained with their playful antics.
